Bring a friend to a tournament (one that has never been to a Gryphon tournament before) and you each get a free booster pack!

Event Pricing

  • Constructed tournaments cost $5 to register.  This money is used for the prizes which are given out to the top players.
  • Draft tournaments cost $11 to pay for entry fee and three magic booster packs.  Draft prizes include a rare draft of all the opened rares, using the final places in the tournament for the rare draft order.
  • Sealed Event $25, includes six boosters. 
  • 2-HG Sealed $30, includes eight boosters for both team members to share.
  • Prerelease and release tournament costs are variable. Look at individual tournament information for details.

General Information

  • Information about a new month's tournaments will be up on the first of the month unless otherwise stated.
  • If you are going to be late please call before the tournament starts. This way we will be able to reserve a spot for you. However, this offer will not always be extended to Friday Night drafts because of time needed for drafting.
  • PLEASE... respect the judges and the room.  The judges put in many hours to organize and run these events.  The room is provided to allow a nice space for everyone to play games so please help us keep it clean.
  • PLEASE... respect the banned and restricted lists. Not abiding by these rules can mean a game loss.
  • PLEASE... if a tournament allows proxy cards, know what these cards do before playing with them! Having a copy of the card at the tournament will help.
  • All tournaments are run by the standard DCI tournament rules.  For constructed tournaments, 60 card minimum decks are required, with an optional 15 card sideboard.  For limited tournaments, 40 card minimum decks will be built.  Tournaments will be modified-Swiss style, except when noted, which means that each player can play the entire tournament.  Rules questions will be handled by the judge.
  • Please use deck sleeves in all Type 1 or Type 1.5 tournaments. Solid color cases are preferred.
  • Basic lands will be provided for Limited tournaments.
