Gryphon offers a wide range of services both as a retail store and for the community at large. In fact, we do so many different things that many people miss out on what all we have to offer! Please take a moment to look over this page and acquaint yourself with our store.

Retail Side
Frequent Buyer Program : All non-discounted store purchases qualify for our Frequent Buyer Program. Sign-up for our program is free and all we need to put you into our system is your name (a phone number helps sometimes too...) You will receive $1 in credit for every full $10 of any purchase you make. Once you have accumulated $10 in store credit you may use that credit towards a future purchase. No restrictions! Please note that the program only works in full $10 increments and that purchase values do not include sales tax. So a book that costs $29.99 will get you $2 in credit. Feel free to add onto your purchases to hit those break-points!
Comic Hold Slots : We are more than happy to pull comics for you! Whether or you want a single issue of a title or entire runs of multiple comics, we will pull them and set them aside for you. There is no fee for this service and all we need to set you up is a name and number. All we ask in return is that you stop by at least once a month to pick up your held comics and to please tell us immediately if you wish to stop receiving particular titles or if you've picked up your comics somewhere else already. We are very easy going about getting stuck with back-issues that people asked us to hold for them, but it does create a financial strain on us so please help us out!
Special Orders: If we don't have what you're looking for in stock then we will try to find them for you. We place weekly orders for both games and comics on Sunday night and receive them Wednesday, Thursday or Friday of that week. We do not require up-front payment for special orders and will call you as soon as we get them in. The same goes for pre-orders for new arrivals! No more wondering about when things come out or whether or not they'll be sold-out before you get yours. If an item is back-ordered (the distributor is out of stock) we will check weekly for you until it comes back into stock and get it then.
What we Carry: We have a massive variety of publishers and manufacturers from whom we can order. If you don't see your favorite products on the shelf, please ask if we can get it. We can't get everything from everyone, but we can get a lot more than what we're able to keep in stock.
Community Side
Open Gaming Room: Our open gaming room is just that. It's free for use by anyone wishing to play a game during any of the hours that we are open. We schedule events throughout the week.
Scheduled Game Nights : Our regular weekly schedule consists of Boardgames on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, Wargaming on Thursdays and Saturdays, Pokemon on Sunday and Magic: The Gathering on Fridays. Of course people show up throughout the week at different times for a variety of things, but those are the days that you're most likely to find a pick-up game of those types.
Role-Playing: We sponsor the Fort Collins RPG Connection Meetup. Through this Meetup you can meet other locals who are interested in role-playing or join in on an open game here at the store. We have regular games of Dungeons and Dragons as well as other events scheduled. If you want to schedule something please contact us through Meetup and we'll put your event on the calendar!
Warhammer : Warhammer 40K is well represented at Gryphon. We have a large player base and run regular tournaments. Warhammer Fantasy isn't quite as popular, but there are still quite a few players in town and it's not hard to find a game most of the time! If you have any interest in either you should definitely be on the Northern Colorado Warhammer Meetup! That will keep you in touch with what's going on for league events, tournaments and mega-battles.
Magic: The Gathering : Magic is huge at Gryphon. We have one of the largest player bases regionally and a judging team that is unequaled. Gryphon hosts Magic every Friday night and participates in all pre-release and release events. Check our calendar of events or just stop by to see what we have going on. Tournament formats change weekly but focus primarily on Draft and Standard.
